Scheduling Guidelines To schedule a presentation, free of charge for your class or group, please contact the Lawrence County SWCD office Monday—Friday 8am-4pm. Programs are only available on Thursdays and Fridays and are not subject to reschedule in the event of inclement weather or other school cancellations. The programs offered will cater to each age group as specified on adjacent pages. Upon confirming the date, time, and theme of your presentation, you will be notified of any special materials needed for the presentation, such as microscope, a VCR, or a creek/stream, etc. You will receive an email or phone call the week of your scheduled program to confirm times and provide information on crafts or activity supplies the students will need. It is asked that programs be scheduled during a time that will not be interrupted by recess, etc. and that the teacher remain present for the duration of the presentation so that these important conservation ideas may be successfully reinforced.
